These brakes are sturdy materials, have a simple function & achieve it with ease to user.  Their default movement is tight & slow.  A tiny loosening of the screws & bolts allowed me to adjust them to my preferences.  Default required 5secs every time I engage/disengage the brakes. Now they’re down to 1-2secs & I love them.  They also move clearly out of the way, no risk of hand injury.

I was a little disappointed that the lock is not 100% metal, the handles are plastic.
