We bought the freewheel for my 69 year old mom who has T-6 paralysis (mid-back). She uses it when she is traveling and/or visiting family and doesn't have her power wheelchair. It allows us to easily go on dirt, rock, planked wood, over railroad tracks and bumpy sidewalks without worrying about her caster wheels getting stuck or caught up on a little bump. Provides us with much more stability and ease than her regular manual chair does alone. We would recommend this to anyone that doesn't have a power chair, or would like something to put on quick in order to gain access to their yard. thanks freewheel! One of the best pieces of handicap equipment we have ever bought. Feels very sturdy when on, goes on easily and is small enough and light enough to travel with.
