The Ride Java wheelchair cushion has a contoured foam base proven highly effective for redistributing the forces of pressure from high risk areas while selectively applying the it to areas more pressure tolerant. The contour shape also adds stability to the chair rider by conforming to the natural shaped of the body. The Java cushion is essentially maintenance free without gel or air to adjust or replace and weighs in at about 2.75 lbs. Much lighter than comparable cushions on the market.
